Tiger Woods is known as a great man, not just as a great golfer.

The 49-year-old has had the opportunity to work with several caddies throughout his long career, but it seems that Steve Williams left the biggest mark.

Steve Williams still openly talks about interesting moments with Tiger Woods, and in an interview for the Tee It Up podcast he revealed that Tiger has always been grateful and that he thanked Williams after every round. 

Williams is proud because the popular golfer, even when things weren't going ideally, knew how to stay calm. The results didn't change his manners.

“The thing that stood out for me more than anything when I first went to caddie for Tiger is that after every single round, good or bad, indifferent, whatever, ‘Thanks for your help today, Steve'", Williams said.

"A lot of times when you are carrying for guys, and things don’t go well, and you have a bad day, they’d rather not see you. They don’t want to talk to you. But he was remarkable.” He added: “Every day, he thanked me for the job. And as a young guy under the pressure, that was the first. I couldn’t believe it.”

Success

The two have achieved as many as 63 victories on the PGA Tour together, and Woods has never hidden how much Williams is responsible for such successes. 

Their collaboration has proven to be very successful, and fans are already turning their eyes to Woods' return, with the hope that the legendary golfer will soon play again. 

Tiger Woods has been absent from the golf scene for a long time, with injuries preventing him year after year, undergoing numerous surgeries, but he has never hidden how motivated he is to return.

The experienced golfer left a big mark in this sport, and his presence alone will bring great importance to the PGA Tour.
