The next episode of Sheriff Country will air later this week, but the Fire Country spin-off just got one step closer to Season 2 thanks to new viewership data. News broke yesterday afternoon that, after seven full weeks on the air, Morena Baccarin’s new CBS-backed procedural has improved in viewership every week that it’s been on the air. The first few episodes of Sheriff Country have garnered over 11 million viewers per episode, placing it second on CBS, behind only Boston Blue. This will certainly bode well for Sheriff Country when CBS is deliberating on the future of the series.
