Out of all the streaming giants, Netflix probably has the biggest reign when it comes to sci-fi shows. From Stranger Things to Sense8, the platform has become the go-to for well-done, thought-provoking and even twisted sci-fi series. But while some of these shows have become major cultural phenomena, others, like the 2018 reboot series Lost in Space, have remained under the radar, but still accumulated a fair share of views. According to FlixPatrol, the series, which is based on the classic 1965 sci-fi TV show of the same name, earned over 44.3 million hours in the first six months of 2025, totaling 5.6 million views. The viewership numbers are impressive, and it goes to show that Lost in Space shouldn't be underseen for long.
