Ahead of its February 26 release on Prime Video, Deadline exclusively shared the first trailer for the eight-part Civil War epic, The Gray House, which the two-time Oscar winner produced alongside Morgan Freeman. The ambitious series, directed by The Killing Fields helmer Roland Joffé and based on a true story, puts the spotlight on the unsung women of history who risked life and limb deep in Confederate territory to establish an underground spy network that would be indispensable to the war effort. This group consists of "a Virginia socialite, her mother, a formerly enslaved sister-in-arms, and the city’s most notorious courtesan," who are determined to stop the spread of evil.
