Discovery+ subscribers in Canada aren’t just being asked to download a new app — they’re being forced to start over. Ahead of the February 17, 2026, shutdown of Warner Bros. Discovery’s version of the service, Rogers has launched a new Discovery+ platform that does not automatically migrate existing accounts. The result is a manual reset that wipes out payment information, profiles, watch history, and personal settings, turning what should be a seamless transition into a frustrating rebuild for current users.
