The Estée Lauder Companies Establishes “One ELC” Model and Appoints WPP as Global Media Partner
THE WHAT? The Estée Lauder Companies has fully implemented its “One ELC” operating model and appointed WPP as its first-ever global media partner.
THE DETAILS The “One ELC” model integrates operations across the business through a unified structure built on One Team, One Culture and One Operating Ecosystem, designed to improve speed, efficiency and scalability. As part of this transformation, WPP will lead global media strategy, shifting the company from a decentralised regional model to a connected, AI-powered global system. The move is supported by strategic partners including Accenture for shared services and Shopify for global e-commerce infrastructure. The company has also reached a key milestone in its Profit Recovery and Growth Plan, targeting up to US$1 billion in gross savings, with most benefits expected by fiscal 2027.
THE WHY? The transformation aims to streamline operations, improve media effectiveness and unlock growth by creating a more agile, data-driven and globally consistent operating model.
