THE WHAT? Henkel has completed the acquisition of North American haircare brand Not Your Mother’s (NYM).

THE DETAILS The deal brings NYM—founded in 2010 and known for trend-led shampoos, conditioners and styling products—into Henkel’s Consumer Brands division. The brand’s portfolio includes key ranges such as Clean Freak®, Curl Talk® and Beach Babe®, driven by consumer-focused innovation. Henkel plans to combine its global scale, sustainability expertise and operational capabilities with NYM’s agility and creativity to expand its haircare offering in North America.

THE WHY? The acquisition supports Henkel’s strategy to strengthen its position in core categories like haircare while adding fast-growing, on-trend brands that resonate with evolving consumer preferences.
