'The Departed' Meets 'The Dark Knight' in Netflix’s Latest Streaming Smash
There's a log-jam of new shows on Netflix, while major holdovers such as Man on Fire haven't even died down. This past week saw the release and unexpected success of the British crime drama series Legends, starring Steve Coogan. It's like a cross between Slow Horses and Narcos, and is currently among the most-watched shows globally on Netflix. It was recently replaced as the streamer's number one title by the new Spanish-language potboiler Between Father and Son. Meanwhile, the Danish noir series The Chestnut Man and the true-crime documentary series Worst Ex Ever both returned with their second seasons that are charting on the global Netflix leaderboard. However, one show came out of nowhere to find a spot on the list.
