After 28 Seasons, 'The Simpsons' Just Got Rid of One of Its Best Characters
Death has reared its ugly head a number of times in The Simpsons: Maude Flanders, Larry "the Barfly" Dalrymple, and even Marge Simpson. As of Season 37's most recent episode, "Seperance," you can add another name to that list: Duffman (Hank Azaria). Not Barry Duffman, the man behind the sunglasses, but the long-time Duff beer mascot, a victim of the corporate Grim Reaper. And as a result, The Simpsons loses one of its best side characters, turning "oh, yeah!" into "oh, no!" for millions.
