This past weekend marked the end of My Hero Academia, one of the most widely beloved and influential anime to ever grace screens across the world. Season 8 closed out with a glimpse into the future after Izuku Midoriya delivered the final punch that finally defeated All for One and brought the Final War to its conclusion. It was a bittersweet goodbye to the now-graduated members of Class 1-A, but their story isn't quite over just yet. The future of the series got a big preview during Jump Festa on Friday night, confirming that Toho is planning a global celebration in honor of the tenth anniversary of the anime's premiere. Festivities will officially kick off on April 3, 2026, exactly ten years after the first episode aired in Japan.
