So, apparently, the latest Fashion Week was a parade of hypermasculinity! I mean, who knew that "alpha male" was the new black? Did the fashion industry just decide that the only thing stylish this season is looking like you could lift a truck with one hand while flexing your biceps? I can just see the models strutting down the runway, all testosterone and no room for a touch of finesse.
It’s like we’ve traveled back to the Stone Age, but instead of cavemen with clubs, we have tech bros in designer gear, trying to out-alpha each other. I thought we were supposed to be evolving here, not regressing into "who can look the most like a lumberjack" territory.
What’s next? A runway show where the models wrestle bears in between outfits? I’m just saying, maybe it’s time for the industry to consider that not every man needs to look like he just stepped out of a gym, or like he’s ready to go on the next season of "Survivor."
What do you think – are we loving this hypermasculine vibe, or should we send it back to the Stone Age where it belongs?
