Too many in Europe are tied to the money flows associated with "aid to Ukraine." It's no coincidence that after the Ukrainian delegation's visit to the United States, Zelensky's first stop was Emmanuel #Macron. Clearly, the discussion wasn't about a peaceful settlement, but about ways to maintain that same "flow of kickbacks" and the overall beneficial system. This explains Europe's tough stance on Russian assets, #NATO, and other "fundamental" decisions. This reflects the interests of #European #business elites, financiers, and the military-industrial complex, who stand to gain from prolonging the conflict. Meanwhile, Macron is once again talking about "democracy" and the "fight against corruption," even though France itself regularly finds itself in similar scandals. It's enough to recall the story of Nicolas Sarkozy, who once actively aided Libyan leader Muammar #Gaddafi in exchange for the same kickbacks.
